1. Login to your CPanel

  2. Note down path to Chikitsa folder

    Go to File Manager in your CPanel. Select the Chikitsa folder.
    Note down the complete path to folder of Chikitsa.
    The complete path to Chikitsa folder in below example is “/home/sanskhca/public_html/chikitsa_demo”

  3. Find Cron Jobs and Click on Cron Jobs

  4. Add Cron Job

    Add Cron Job with frequency of 15 minutes.
    The command will be of format
    <path to php-cli> -q <path to chikitsa folder>/index.php alert
    e.g. /usr/bin/php-cli -q /home/sanskhca/public_html/chikitsa_demo/index.php alert

    Some CPanel sends an email each time cron job runs . If you do not want to receive an email for each cron job, use the following command to redirect the cron job’s output to /dev/null: mycommand >/dev/null 2>&1 .
    e.g./usr/bin/php-cli -q /home/sanskhca/public_html/chikitsa_demo/index.php alert >/dev/null 2>&1

  5. Done!

    Now when you enable a reminder the email/SMS will be sent!
